I got my rotors and pads from the groupbuy a while back... mother fucking they are the wrong ones... to big and 5 bolt im a fucking idiot i didnt check earlier its been months since i picked them up I was at pepboys today to get them installed and only for 135 which is great. shady midas said 70 over the phone 70 front 70 in back... then when i get there the guy saids 200 total im like wtf and start to drive off the guy stops me and saids ok 150. Say no thanks and leave...

go to pepboys which told me 75 front 75 rear over the phone and then turns out 135... hotness. wait around for an hour and a half finally get my car up on the lift and i ask him if i can adjust my coilovers once its on the lift because thats cool 4 tires off at once hot... so he saids yeah... wat around another 30 mins and he get the tires off gets the one tire that was mounted backwards and puts it on the right way good stuff...

calls me over later and saids hey your rotors are to big im like no they arent.... he shows me and yep they are to big and fucking 5 lug not 4 lug... im like holy shit i was quite shocked that i didn't even notice this... i mean i haven't really looked at them in months but i didnt even take all of them out of the boxes to check them mother fucker.

So im going to call up Jerry and see whats going on.... wow what a bunch of bull... 3 hours down the tubes and still no upgrade.

Did you have to pay the full $135 even tho they didn't install them?

 

im pretty damn sure he didnt... they probably juss took off 1 wheel and try to fit the rotors and figured out it wasnt the right one.

 

actually all of them were off. and it was only the front that didnt fit after i looked at them i found jerrys phone number in my old emails... and then i called jerry he was cool and i just said id drive over there and switch and he said its cool so i drove over there and switched it made sure everything was right part number and then went back to pep boys. So i paid the 135 and that was that... no tax on labor... i got to adjust the coilovers too i raised it an inch or so so now im only dropped 3 inches.

so it all worked out in the end after spending 6 hours at pepboys.

 

man, should of installed it yourself. Do you have an 98-99 or 97? 98-99 are easy to do...

 

yeah i was going to but i didnt feel so confident in it... yeah i got 99 i saw the guy do it with airgun so it was real fast he could have done it in 40 minutes or something but it took a long as time he kept walking away to work on other cars.

but the price wasnt all that bad... got to adjust my coilovers all at once which was nice... so all in all not bad kinda rented the lift.
