They're Primax Type 420 17" gunmetal.
Yea, i def need a drop, but the rims set me back, and me being a college student working part time, it'll be a lil while before i can drop it. But i wanna get clears next, so if anyone has em, let me know please. And thanks for the compliments.

Looks like its $140. Do i look at the ones for the 94-95 Accords, part #51852? And how much of a drop do H&R's give again? And last thing..i would also need shocks too though, right?

They look nice. The design makes them look smaller though If you are going for the H&R springs you may need a camber correction kit for the front, rear is borderline. Just letting you know, because if you are hurttin for money, shelling out cash for a drop and camber kit sets u back even further. A prokit will keep you in specs, and you can find them for about $30-50 more than H&R's. I didn't want a camber kit, so i got Eibach's and KYB's, now im looking for some koni yellows to drop it a little bit more....

Is it possible to get some thicker tires? The tires look too small and it makes the car look "funny" from certain angles. It seems like those cars that are lowered with the wheels stretched out.

WOW, do those 235s rub at all?

A good guide to keep in mind is that our stock tires are 205/55/16. When going up one size, go to 215/45/17. When going up 2 sizes, go to 225/40/18.

With your 235/40/R17's, your speedometer will be wrong. http://www.whalentire.com/tiresize.c...2354017&alt=no

those look real nice, but when you drop it def. dont go with prokits. you wont be happy with 17's and that drop, trust me. go with either H&R sports, race or eibach sportlines...they look like the konig heliums/RH C8'S that ill hopefully have by july.

Whats the diff between the sports and race for H&R? And i see that you had quite a drop with your stock rims on your site. I don't think i want it that low..it looks slammed. But its nice though. How's the ride?

And dustbuster, there is A LOT of gap between my tires..so theres no rubbing. Are you sure my speedometer will be off? Will it be higher or lower? And is 225 the thicker tires? My friend has 225's on his..and its thicker than my 235's. I'll take some pics of the tires upclose tomorrow morning and post em up.

If by thicker you mean wider; 235s are wider than 225s. If you mean a thicker sidewall, then you need to consider that the sidewall specification (35, 40, 45, etc.) is directly influenced by the width of the tire (205, 215, 225, 235, etc.). The 35, 40, 45, etc. number is actually a percentage of the width of the tire.

On my tires, they are 225/40/18s. This means they are 225mm wide and the sidewall is 40% of the width of the tire (225 x 40% = 90mm high). Typically a tire that has a 40 (90mm), will have a thicker sidewall (aspect ratio) than will a tire with a 35 (79mm). However, if you compare a 35/235 (82mm) against a 40/225 (90mm), they may end up having a somewhat close sidewall height.

Sorry that the link I posted didn't work. It showed that if you are travelling at 60 MPH, your speedometer will read 61.2 MPH. Therefore, your speedo will indicate that you are going faster than you really are:

STOCK WHEEL WIDTH: 6.0"

STOCK TIRE SIZE: 205/55R16

DIAMETER: 24.9" SECTION WIDTH: 8.1" SIDEWALL HEIGHT: 4.4"
MINIMUM RIM WIDTH: 5.5" MAXIMUM RIM WIDTH: 7.0"
REVOLUTIONS PER MILE: 811

SELECTED TIRE SIZE:235/40R17

DIAMETER: 24.4" SECTION WIDTH: 9.3" SIDEWALL HEIGHT: 3.7"
MINIMUM RIM WIDTH: 8.0" MAXIMUM RIM WIDTH: 9.5"
REVOLUTIONS PER MILE: 827

IF YOU TRAVELED 60 MPH WITH THIS TIRE INSTALLED ON YOUR VEHICLE YOUR SPEEDOMETER WOULD READ 61.2 MPH

EDIT: If you lower your car, the 235's MAY rub (depends on how low you go).

WOW...thanks. Very informational, but it looks like im gonna have to keep these for now until they wear out and i get some new tires.

Also, will this then explain why when i take off, i feel like im floating? It seems that the car's nose wants to float or something when i take off. And im not even flooring it.
