RIM & TIRE COMBO

I got a 97 2.2, I recently ordered 18x7.5 chrome with 225 40 18 tires. I also have 1.7 eibach drop waiting to be installed (by me). I guess its to late already i got the spring & rims, but i wanna know in advance what im up against. WILL IT RUB< HOW WILL IT RIDE< SHOULD I GO WITH A NARROWER TIRE<
Does any one have any pics of the same rim & drop combo as me.... Send them direct to dohcvtec@optonline.net

what kind of rims did u get. plus u got chrome. ur car will prob be slower then it was before. i dotn think it will rub, but i think it all depends on the offset of the rims u got. maybe on hard turning it will rub. i dont really know.

Chrome 18's don't neccessarily slow you down. If you buy good wheels chances are they will be close to the stock wheel/tire weight. My chrome 18's weigh like 1.5lbs heavier than stock wheel/tire combo.

I have the same exact setup as your getting. I haven't had any problems with rubbing, but I do need a camber kit. Might be an isolated case but be aware.
