ive def never seen your car around town, or just never noticed a cl with shaved doorhandles, which im should notice.....where you from? im from western cranston during the summer and then live in a house down in narragansett during the winter.....it woudl probably be hard to get a meet from the rhody kids here b/c theres only a handfull of them around

 

I am from Coventry. last summer my car was being built and over the winter it is in my Gar. so this is the first summer i have had it back out. i am swapping the motor in a few days and i just had to order all kinds of Bushings and motor mounts from Energy Suspension. dude go to The dunkin Doughnuts nearthe showcase in east greenwich friday night people race right there ill be there. what CL do you have?

 

Kid me and my boys are goin on a cruise tonight if your not busy you should join, they have 2 preludes, 1 spec v, GTI 1.8T, 2 TSI's just let me know 4801668 is my cell if ur ever down.

 

I would love to meet up, but depends on timing. Have a work party to attend to on Friday night, but maybe Saturday I could swing by to see what you have done, swap tips, ideas, etc. Not in to street racing though...What time at the RI Mall, I live about 500 yards from the parking lot. Well man we are problay cruzin tonight, but saturday around 10 and i am still attepmting the swap i have my H22A from a 94 prelude and i am trying to get harness information, and try to get as much done before i pull mine out and throw the H in. What do you have done to your CL

 

its gunna be hard for me this wekeend to go, but ill try to free up some time and check it out....I drive a 97 2.2, cypress green, clear corners, shaved rear, dropped, system (no pictures on this computer)....im never really in coventry so thats probably why i havent seen you...i tend to stay in warwick, cranston, and provi while up here

 

We go on alot of "creeps" (lol) through prov, and cranston, but i wil be cruzin rt 2 after work tonight so if ur not busy cruise maybe we will see eachother.

Well dude ill be down there sat night maybe around 9:30 parked in the Chuck Cheese P-lot, ill leaVE MY parking lights on, its reall low so look for that haha. My new OBXR Cat will be on. im throwin that on tomorrow morning at my dads shop alog with changing my oil. oh yea if u need CL work Done my dads shop and me has done everything to mine from scrach, we have learned alot about the car. The shop is called Eastside Enterprises body shop. we are putting my motor in there. and for exo i went with 2.5in custom exo with a racing Industries duel tip muff, it sounds amazing people are suprised i dont have more done, and i smoke my friends and he has the same car as me but no exo hes has TV's in his head rests and Exo thats all. i shift at 7000 no prob and it doesnt lose any Tq or anything haha its nice. the clutch also helps. but yea man def swing through sat night. another kid is somin and ill try to get my boy in cov with the cl 2 come

 

Yo ill be out out on rt 2 today in about 10 minutes till 1 goin to fresh city to stuff my face if ur bored ill be at fresh city. and i cleaned my car last night so its mint.

 

Well i was on rt 2 and i saw someone with a cl Green, clears and he threw me the peace.

 

that was me, i know someone who works at the stop and shop over there...what color did you paint that? or is that just black and im blind? Theres also a kid eduardo whose on this forum who has a red cl with a projo set up that works at best buy, you should check that out next time your over there, nice guy (i bought my springs off him)

 

the color is actually called Plum berry punch it is candy paint, i have seen the kid with the projos i want them haha. , i enjoyed seeing other CL's its smooth i was just leaving fresh city to go back to work. f**kin hot as hell out

 

how much did that set you back? got any pictures yet?

 

650 a qt plus shaving the door handles and my moldings off and the door popers. like lets say 4500 arounf there, but at the same time i got my grill done me seats re-leathered, my Tokico 5 ways. so thats was another g-note, now this motor is my new project i am thinking i may just keep the H dose dose in my house and build it this winter, boost fo sho

 

i wish i had that kinda money but i do only work 16-20 hrs a week so i cant really complain

 

haha full time man, 8:30-5 haha monday -friday and now i am goin to be goin to NE Tech at night haha im goin to be hurtin but it will all be worth it when the CL is Boosted and smokin heads haha cant wait to open my Hood and see H22

whats up, i'm live in RI in coventry on the west warwick border but i'm 5 minutes from the malls. i have a black 98 3.0CL completely stock. i'm surprised i didn't see u guys on Rt2 the other night. i work at QUidnessette Country Club and thats the way i go to get home. but yea that part right there next to the cinemas is a great place to wind the car out, hey i always do. maybe sometime we'll meet up but i don't know hom much longer i will have my CL.

i know what u mean, but i don't spin out in them. when coming from work i'm on 401 coming towards RT2 and i take a right onto Rt2 and if no one is in front of me or coming up behind me or on the side i'll get on it, thats like the only time i'll do it.

edit: mall cinemas, u mean the warwick mall cinemas where there is houses in the back?? because i don't do anything in there, if thats what ur talking about.

 

all is cool dude, yeah I live close to the mall, and hear everything. I hate the stupid teenies that hang out at the cinemas. It is the only time I praise the cops. Otherwise, have a great time with your car anywhere else.

(i know, rare chance cuz of the amount of people in rhody on here) looked like they had hid's and clear corners, and possibly stock height.....just wondering cuz im going again on thursday night and this time ill be driving my car and wondering if you'll be around again (last time i was in a new tan explorer with rims and system, we tried to stop next to you buy you screwed away)
