Revving

Revving

When revving in parked, rpms don't go beyong 5000, then it revs a bit back, then to 5000 again... can anyone verify it's the norm? My is 98 CL 2.3

sounds like you are an automatic. say to the tranny.

Why on earth would you rev past 5k in park? Thats so bad for your bearings dude.

Its called a rev limiter. Its there for a reason!

The car starts to shake a little too if you keep pushing that 5k.
