performancepeddler and zap performance both sell on ebay and pretty much carry all the magnaflow parts. They were the top two shops that I was looking at when I was ordering my parts way back when. one was like a dollar cheaper or something, so I went with that one. Cant really lose with either.

I don't know for sure but I highly doubt a resonator would hamper your top hp. If you've got a straight pipe then I would think you could definitely use a resonator.

My vote is for the magnapack resonator. Although I am a bit biased since I'm pretty brand-loyal to Magnaflow.

I used an eclipse GST resonator on my custom 2.25 exhaust. It was all I had lying around. Really killed the interior drone that I hated.

Looks much like your magnaflow link.

I had an 18" magnaflow resonator to begin with to go along with my 14816 and that was just too loud. I went to the 22" and I thought it made a world of difference in terms of where the sound resonated (duh...)

For example, driving through quiet neighborhoods is a bit easier now. Also, driving on the freeway it's practically silent; I can actually hear the radio without having to blast it now. It's still loud though, but only in the upper RPMs... which is perfect.

I've got a 22" with the 14816 and it sounds great. It's deep and still relatively quiet. It does get a little loud on the highway with my radio off however. I'll post up a sound clip as soon as I can to give you an idea.
