Resetting CEL with effecting the stereo?
In the passed I’ve just disconnected my battery to reset my CEL. But I think there is a way to do this by pulling a fuse in the engine compartment. My Alpine radio loses all its memory and settings if the battery is pulled and it’s a pain. Any insight would be great! Thanks!

Get an OBD-II scanner, you can get one for like $75

Under-hood fuse called BACK UP. You'll still lose your radio settings using this method as the ECM/PCM share the same circuitry as the 12V constant for the radio's memory.
Or just goto autozone to borrow a ECM tool and reset it with the tool.
