Which tires are good to replace the OE Michelin's?

What kind of tire are you looking for? I mean like what kind of conditions are you going to be driving through?

I prefer high to ultra high performance tires. I live in the Bay Area but I still want the tires to have decent snow traction so I can drive my car to Tahoe.

Thanks.

Do you want to keep the same size or would you like to upgrade to another size? What year is your CL?

You can try www.tires.com or www.tirerack.com first to see what types are out there.

I think I'm going with the Dunlop SP Sport 5000. What do you guys think? Tirerack.com thinks they're pretty good.

I put yokohama parada's on my car and I love them, I also have 18's and prokit springs. They handle great in dry or wet conditions. But I am not sure how they handle in snow because I live in Flordia and we dont dont get snow.

The SP5000 is about the best all season performance tire you can get. Much better than the P7000SS. Even still, they don't even come close to a snow tire in terms of snow and ice traction.

You won't be able to even get the car going on any kind of snow or ice with Paradas.

I went with the Pirelli P6000 Sport Veloce because I wanted a combination of performance, comfort, and treadlife. If you want ultra-high-performance, I would recommend the Pirelli PZero. That's what I put on my M Roadster, and they're outstanding!!
