reducing humming on sri
installed it, love the sound when reving but i can't stand the humming at idle will replacing the filter help the humming?

told ya it was gonna hum. I got so sick of mine I ripped it off and replaced it with a cold air w/ k&n cone and the hum went away. if you have a cheap aluminum tube, it's probably gonna resonate with a new filter, but I would try that first. My K&N was a different width than my sri so i had to just put the CAI on. I hated the hum, my friend said he could hear me coming from a block or 2 away. Now, my cl is 
style again. K&N cone that's your only hope
Get ur K&N and wrap ur cheap tube in some 'racing' duct tape!! i bet that would work!

bretin u know how i drive my car.. it gets treated like a stepchild.. i blew up something..
