For those of you who are affected......have you contacted a Dealer yet? If yes was the parts avil. yet? i just called to set up an appt. cuz my check engine just came on and mentioned the recall..............the service manager told me the part wasn't there yet and I'd be put on a waiting list till it arrives. thanks

Parts aren't availalbe yet
I just got my car back from Acura (100k tune up, etc.). They said that they haven't recieved any replacement parts from Acura yet so they can't do the recall yet. They sort of acted like it may be a while before they get the parts too... hmmmmm. Guess i'll just have to wait some more. BTW: This was at Don Mealy Acura in Longwood, Florida.

Just FYI on this recall (if we're talking about the emissions one):
A) It does not expire. Ever. (from what I was told)
B) If you can hold off until 75K miles instead of going after 50K they'll replace your plugs, wires, etc as well as the exhaust parts. I had about 60K when the recall came out and since it wasn't affecting me, just the environment, I have no problem waiting until 75K and having them take care of everything free.....
