Recall of PCV hose??

I have a 99 3.0 and my check engine light was on. I took it in and they said the EGR valve was sticking. Had that replaced but the light kept coming on. I took it back and they blew all the carbon buildup out of the PCV hose routing. It came on again, they blew it out again, and said everything was working as it should and the PCV hose was on a recall. Anyone else had this problem??

naw seafoam wont get the carbon blockage out of the intake manifold. you have to remove it and drill the carbon out. the egr is covered under a service bulliten for 80k miles. they have a little pipe they put in the intake manifold to eliminate carbon buildup. they are just being lazy. tell them they have to remove the intake manifold and drill out the passage under neath it (on the manifold side)
