Mod, If you want to delete my response go ahead I just wanted to say that maybe if we knew what it is gonna look like probably more of us would be interested. Just a thought....
If I knew that I'm gonna like it for sure I would count myself in but I can't just give $400 out without knowing if Im gonna like what Im gonna be buying.
----if you were looking for a car and someone comes and tells you to give him/her the money and he/she will get you one...what do you think it would be your first question? Just think about it.....

sorry if someone doesn't like what im saying, I dont mean to mess everything up....and like I said if you don't think this should be here take it out....thanx.....

My guess is that it will be a modified wings west w-type rear off an accord wagon. This is for two reasons...

1)Easiest to modify

2)Will match the ww air dam and side skirts perfectly making a complete and clean kit..

you guys will see what it looks like, trust me. lets get at least 10-15 strong responses here in this thread. then the next post will be about who wants what, and we will work from there.

so who is definitely in. it will take at least a month until this gets going so if you are in in a month then you are in now.

everyone that is in, will have the final option to decide if they are still in or not once we decide on a bumper. the cost is $400, the rear bumper will be perfect, you will have no complaints

mod, please delete all posts that say anything but "i am in".

We've already got more then 10 people, why don't some of you start posting pics of some that you like. I've never really been into the import scene until now so I haven't really researched body kits or anything, but I'm going to start looking now.

I like that kit off that yellow accord in the original post. I think it is a xenon kit. Lets decide what we want to go with. I just want a new bumper.

Hey JamzCL, yo man. You got beef. You've been talking shit. I f I had a buyer then I would sell it. As long as I'm still driving my shit, I want it to look good like the rest of yoos all. If Ross don't want to count me in, then it's cool and JamzCL, get off Ross's balls.

well UNFORTUNATELY you can now count me out . I went to go get new insurance today and because i have a speeding ticket and 2 no fault accidents I will be paying $245 a month and thats the cheapest in town . I love this car but I cant justify paying $600 a month for this car with the insur. and car payment. At that rate i'll be living at home forever and at 21 I dont want to be here as it is. So I am going to have to sell the car and buy an nice old muscle car that i like so i will have real cheap insurance and can move into my own place. not sure when I will put it up for sale or when it will be sold but its kinda sad.

Doh i just remembered ross said delete anything that doesent say "I am in".

Just so I am clear - are we talking about a full bumper kit or are we talking about a rear lip that attaches under existing bumper?

A rear lip that will be custom fitted to match our bumper... at this time, no company makes a rear lip. WW makes an air dam, and any side skirts from a 2 dr 94-97 Accord will fit. The rear bumper has always been the problem. Ross is willing to mass produce a lip for us at a pretty cheap cost of $400.

1Gen... Suggestion--seperate two stickys... one for I am in, and one for discussion on the topic. The I am ins better fucking be in for sure or Ross will get screwed.

Acurate,
Yeah, I understand what's currently available - I have the front air dam and Accord Type W side skirts (actually bought them both from Ross). I did not put on the side skirts because I didn't like how they looked without something added to the rear - screwy looking line from the side.
I planned to buy the WW Accord Wagon rear lip (one with slots) and cut out a center section to correct the width, then angle to match the bumper and mold it on - adding glass for structure and bondoglass/polyester fill to follow the bumper line.
I just wanted to make sure of what Ross is planning here - rear lip or full bumper kit - because I haven't seen it specifically stated in either of the two threads that have been going. If he is planning to do the lip, I would really rather get finished piece from him rather than do myself (his work speaks for itself).

I don't want to get off topic here... but a finished product would be nice, but 400 bucks is pretty damn cheap... and basically... Ross is the shit.

If it is a Lip, I am Still definatly IN. If a bumper, I AM OUT.

I dont see how you can say $400 is cheap considering that the front lip with the same amount of material made by a reputable company is $200. I am in because I have no other choice. I am definatly NOT knocking Ross' work, but I have never seen his work. I am taking your word for it. Can you please justify your comment of Ross being the shit by showing me some of his work? I think alot of people reading this thread might be alittle worried about the product not fitting perfect or not looking like you say.

If it sounds like I am coming out strong, I dont mean to. I am trying to close this deal as soon as possible. I would love to have a rear valance on my car. I think it would look GREAT. The sooner we get the bullshit out on the table, the sooner everyone will be happy..

Personally, I don't doubt that Ross would produce a great piece (both structurally and cosmetically), and $400.00 is worth it to me.
I am really looking for the lip vs. fiberglass full bumper kit.

Well Im nobody to have an opinion on this topic since Im not in but the way he was talking before he was meaning a full bumper....I think $400 is a good price if that's the deal...if he decides to make a rear lip then I think thats just too much....

That is exactly what I am talking about. Thank you CLXTREME.

1genCL: Thanks. I have seen that post before and did not realize that it was his work. Based on that thread I realized that he is not a shade tree mechanic and that he does know what he is doing.

So when do I get a lip...

Ross, I was wondering if and when you make the rear lip will you also sell it in some sort of package with the wings west front lip and some accord side spoilers that go with the other two pieces, if so how much do you think the whole kit would cost coming from you?
