hey guys. i was wondering if anyone had this same problem as my sister. when her car is acceling something tends to rattle. i think its the heat shield, but the previous shops she took it to cant seem to find the problem. not even an acura dealership could. i was wondering if anyone else had the same problem she has and what they did to get ride of the noise. its a 98 Acura CL 2.3 Premium with a little over 100k miles on it. if anyone can help me with this please post back thank u

The CL has heat shields front to back on the exhaust and the top and botom. I had a rattle that I chased for years. The Acura dealer couldn't find the problem either. Just recently the pipe from the catalytic converter to the muffler rusted through and I had to replace it. The new pipe came without heatshields and viola', no more rattle.

Yea i have rattle too. They told me my aftermarket muffler was hitting my rear control arm, which it was slightly, but i fixed that and its definatly more towards the front for me. When i have it raised up to install the turbo I will look into it.
