ok about 2 weeks ago i moved up in the world and bought a 97 3.0 cl. (my past car was a 85 prelude) when i try to lock my car w/ the remote alot of times it beeps back at me 3 times and doesnt lock. can someone please tell my why it does this. its really starting to annoy me. i changed the battery so its not that. also this might sound like a really dumb question but do the needles on the gauges light up in our cars or does the light at the top supposed to show the face cause at night all i can see is the bak of the gauges light up but i can't see the needles at all. i swear to you all im not a moron its just that my friends accord is like that and just the light from the top lights up his gauges. also do any of u guys know where i can buy an owners manual for my car for cheap because the dealership wants $65 for one. thanks

 

Either your hood latch isn't registering, OR one of your 2 doors isn't closing all the way, one of your alarm sensors is being kept open.

 

i dunno about the horn....it should lock.
no the needles don't light up, in fact if that accord is a 94-97 its basically the same gauge cluster.
and ebay is your best bet for a owners manual.

 

well i know from carfax that the girl that had the car before me had gotten in a accident in the front right of the car and now my hood sits too much to the passenger side for intence it rubs the passenger headlight but it has a slight gap on the other side. i really wish i knew how to fix it because its not really noticable unless ur right up to it in direct sunlight

 

Well the car beeps 3 times if a door isnt all the way closed or closed at all. Make sure all doors are locked and maybe just manually lock your doors to be on the safe side.

Open arming circuit. Make sure your hood sensor is in place.
