Radio Security Codes???
I am about to reset my ECU, i have never done it before, and i have been running my intake for about 2 weeks now. But, i know that i need a radio security code to do this, and i don't know how to find it. Do any of you know where to find it, or where i am supposed to have it/ find it?

if you dont have that little card, what you are going to have to do is get the identification numbers off the stereo itself, then bring those to acura, and they'll give you your security code.

I didn't have my code in the manual the first time I took off the battery cable. I had called the dealer and they wanted me to bring it in to verify it was my car then charge me for taking out the radio to look at the number on the back. That was total ![Bullshit](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/bs.gif)
If you know the original dealer where your car was purchased brand new, give them a call and they will be able to give you the code over the phone when you give them your VIN number. Otherwise your local dealer should be able to find it for you without charging you for it, you just have to be persistant about not getting charged.

check the bottom of the ash tray and cup holder for the code before you go to the dealer, also on the side of your glove box. My code was on a sticker on the side of the glove box that faces the console.

Yeah, i was going nuts trying to find this out! I called the 1 800 numbers and was directed to 3 other lines all asking for my VIN number, and not one of them helped! I ended up just calling the dealership i got it from and the lady had it on file, so easy! But hey, thats if you have a certified preowned like me

I'm going through this right now after a battery change. The thing that really pisses me off is that I'm using the number that the dealer gave me over the phone right after I bought the car. The thing that really gets me is who would steal this system anyway? It's a pretty simple unit.
