Ok, so i just got a nice 1997 CL 3.0 recently and am almost ready to put her on the road.

one thing i have found is that on some radio statios, i get very heavy static only when i have the rear defogger on. does anyone know why that would be happening, and how i can get around it?

So i noticed that above my radio there is a button for the fog lights. problem is that my car doesnt have them on it. my guess is that the previous owner took them off.

i've been scouting eBay and am comming up empty handed for factory fog lights. Anyone know where i can get them (deal says they are discontinued), or any good looking after market ones?

 

is it a stock radio?

 

yea, its an Acura Bose CD player.

 

something's up w/ ur antenna which is also on the back window. could be a short somewhere. try disconnecting teh connector to the defroster and then turning it on w/ the radio on. if the problem presists, then i dont know. if it goes away then its definatly a short in the defrost somewhere. if there is a scratch on one of the elements u can fix it with a defroster repair kit u can get from autozone.
