yeah i changed my battery and i had to put the code in didnt find it anywhere so i just took it apart and got the serial. the guy said that the serial is on the top of the radio mine started with FA something something i was wondering if that was the right one cause the guy gave me a code and it shows me a error 1 and then if i try it again error 2 and then error 3.

 

...and 3 strikes and you're out - you'll have to unplug the stereo to reset it to put the code in again. If I remember correctly, mine was a 5 digit code. You'll need the cars Vin and the radio vin to get the code. I wrote mine on the top with a magic marker so I won't lose the code again.

 

You have 3 options:
#1 GO through all the ownership paperwork and find the code in there (if your lucky, I found mine written in the manual on the radio page)
#2 Go to an acura dealership and pay th $15 for them to look up the code You'll need the Cars VIN and the Stereo SN (I took the whole deck and did this)
#3 Buy an after market deck, It is well work the money and I reccomend it becuase in all honesty the Stock deck isnt that great (Yes I did this one too)

 

in my car there is white sticker on the inside of the door of the glove compartment. call the dealer with that number and they can give you the code with that number...for free

I think mine did, I could go check it in a while.. Id have to find it in the garage... $200 to fix it if It has the errors I did. I got error 2, 3, 5 So I bought a new deck

 

Yea I Agree With 3 Option Man Over There, When I First Bought My Car That Happened To Me And I Found The Code Written In The Manual, Or Go To The Dealership They Werent Going To Charge Me Anything
