just installed the polished ractive intake marketed for the 97 accord. fit like a glove, sounds great, a little smoother pickup...also was able to use all vacuum lines---didnt plug any off.

dumb question--the small air box under the main one---what is it and what is the sensor mounted to it? just curious, i ripped it out with the rest of the ugly black plastic and re-mounted the sensor to the sheet metal. no idiot lights, all is well.... sounds great!!!!!

 

that is the A.I.R system and u dotn need it. disconnect the elctrical plug. and rip all that crap out and u will se it all goes to one vacum line that will then get capped off.
