I raced a blue RSX-S today, and to my suprise, he didnt really pull away from me... he got the jump, and we stayed even the whole time... when we got to the next light, I asked him if it was an auto, and he said it was a six speed.... shouldnt he have been able to pull big time on me ???

well he definatly takes the light car award!! He probably couldnt drive, when I had my 3.0 I raced one and he pulled away from me as if he was driving an M3.

 

it may be ligher but I beat a stock RSX auto by a lot. I couldn't undertand it I know that it should have killed me.

 

Stock RSXs are not a problem. Its the Type S that you have to worry about.

 

raced my boys type S with a short ram and he had me by about 3-4 car lenghts at around 70 .... yea i have a 2.2 but i'll give u 3.0s a run for your money.. i dont think a 3.0 could even run with a RSX -S 6 speed

A stock RSX-s does a 1/4 mile in 14.8 and a stock 3.0 does it in 16.0. 1.2s @ 90MPH = bunch of car lengths. No comparison.

 

My bro has one (type-s 6 speed) and yeah it kicks the shit out of my 3.0

 

I had a petty race with a RSX type S. My car was loaded unlike his. He also had performance parts. He didnt pull away as fast as I thought he would. If I didnt have peeps in the car and had a few aftermarket parts, who knows.

We spoke at the next light. He said the RSXs is ok but not all that & for only a couple more G's he wished he would have waited for the RX-8. Which is exactly what I've been doing. lol
