hey i wanted to get a muffler with a louder tone than the stock one, but not one taht can be hear from down the street taht shit is just annoying. is there such a muffler?? sound stock at 3k or less and after taht it just gets kinda loud.????

ya, most of the guys on the site will tell you either the greddy sp, or the apex-i ws. There's also some guys that have flowmasters or magnaflows who say they have a nice tone as well. I have the new greddy sp2 kit on my 2.2, main difference between the sp and sp2 is the sp2 is stainless throughout the sp is not. I like mine, it's a little bit louder on the interior but over all much deeper and sportier sounding than stock, not ricey at all though just a little hum. Again, this is louder than stock, just not by much. Good luck with this, if you want i think i still have a coupon code for the place i bought mine $430 with shipping.

Most aftermarket performance mufflers are loudest around 2500rpms and quiet down above 3000rmps. If you want quiet keep your stock muffler. Just my 2 cents.
