Questions about can overs...

If anyone knows anything about air suspension, please inform me. I want to put the GS on bags but there isn't a company that makes a kit for the car. My shop told me that it's doable but the brackets need to be custom fitted. I got a quote of $4,000. Does this sound right? I don't remember the company name of the air ride kit but I'm sure it's top notch. What do you guys think?

Without looking at the suspension on your car, I couldn't tell. Most cars, like ours, get air cylinders to replace the spring/shock setup. You just have to get the car specific brackets for the cylinders. Generally, unibody cars don't get bagged. You need cylingers or air struts to maintain the suspensions geometery.

Kanovers are the best, but have their drawbacks...

I believe they make 1 style cylinder that they will custom make specified for your car length and weight...

The bad thing with them is that they are imported from Japan (shich is great, but costly and timely), They are $$$$$ and they use push valves on each cylinder!!!! A push valve is held on with air pressure... I dont think its very safe but I do know many people that have used them....

$4000 for a custoim fit sounds normal for EAI or BlowJax, not KanOver....
