My windshield metal trim on the drivers side popped out. I pulled on it a little to see if the car was stable on the jack stands and it just pulled out. hehe anyways i try to pop it back it, but i broke the clips. I got new ones, but does anyone know how much it should be to have someone install it?


Also I will be going on a trip to Mammoth this weekend, should i blue tape the front of my car? or it wont do shit to help my paint

he took the measurements last weekend for headlight, taillight, and turn signal tints. will post pictures once i get them installed. plus a roof overlay

id suggest blue taping it. my sister's front bumper is ruined because of all the highway driving she does, the bugs and other shit have gone through the paint.

Maybe you should see about that 3M film that they have that is transparent. Im going that way when i have the fresh paint.

Clear bra is a great option, I have thought about getting one after a paint job, but blue painters tape works wonders

lol....that windshield trim poped out on mines. Just replace broken clips and pop back in.

wait you did it your self. all my clips are broke. it looks like on the car side it is glued in.

 

My guy from the body shop fucked mine up and he put the windshield silicone just to be safe and havent had any problems.

yeah there is silicone that hold the bottom clips in. i got all the clips too, just need to install it...how much was it?

oh man i got pulled over in Lone Pine! CHP was staring at me and i was thinking..."oh he is going to pull me over" sure enough i see him pull behind me. he said i was speeding. Its a 25mph zone though the small town, just getting though a 55mph zone right before that. my radar detector didnt go off, but i didnt ask him to see it because i had a feeling he wasnt going to write me a ticket.


he just let me go...saying....slow down though the towns...i was like "yes sir"

yup, just bulbs bro. a lil hard to reach in and install...you don't really need to take out the bumper cover to do it. but its a really tight fit when you try to get it.

 

You should try installing corners in my headlights with the TSX projo's in the way, that's a tight fit, had to take the bumper off last time just to put corner bulbs in
