Question Question: Strut Bars

First of all Hello. Ive been researching this forum cause ive had a 97 CL for 3 months now. And it has been lots of help! Now ive been using the search to find everything and I have... but I havent found nothing about the struts bar.

Im sorry if it has been said a million times or whatever... Im new to the Forum so... My question is... will this fit on my CL???

http://www.ebay.com/itm/90-97-HONDA-ACCORD-FRONT-REAR-UPPER-LOWER-STRUT-BAR-G-/150689506178?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1996%7CMake%3AHonda%7CModel%3AAccord&hash=item2315cb6382&vxp=mtr

I'll soon be posting pictures of my car. I just took down my Tranny cause it was dry, no oil, and it got stuck on 5th gear... i fixed everything and since I took it down I bought a Clutch Kit from XTR Racing... CAI coming on mail, LEDs for interior and cluster coming too, short shifter arrived today, took down the TB and cleaned it. Want to do the Seafoam or something like that. Painted my Lightweight wheels a week ago and painted the valve cover to match... bought new smoked bumper signal lights cause the stock ones were broken... And change most important Motor seals cause the car was leaking... anyways Ive been almost 2 weeks with no car cause of this but im just making sure the car wont break down again...

Yes those will fit, our cars share the suspension with the 94-97 accord. The only thin g I would caution is those don't look very rigid. May want to go for something a little thicker.

do strut bars even add performance?

I know that sway bars definitely add performance, but do strut bars do the same thing?

They don't add "performance" But they can add rigidity to the chassis. Our cars have a stock strut brace that braces the frame on each side, but it's hollow. Strut braces actually tie the 2 struts together directly, the best one I've found is the tanabe lower strut brace, that actually tightens up the steering. I have upper and lower front strut braces.
