Question for RidinLow regarding suspension setup.

Now that you have had your KYB AGX / Pro Kit setup for a bit of time, what do you think of it? Would you recommend it? How bad is ride quality/ tolerable? Camber kit needed? I'm looking to get the same thing soon, so your input would be good.

don't me to hijack this thread, but......

since I was gonna ask him a few questions also about his setup.....i thought why not have him answer both of our questions.....and I can give u my opinions on setup also....

AtlCL- I recently got my KYB AGX/Pro kits put on about a week ago........the setup is pretty sweet. the ride isn't harsh at all.....pretty close to stock with the softest setting, I now drive like a mad man, taking turns at like 40 with no problems, and no Camber kit needed........People were complaining that the pro kit drop wasn't low enough........but I only have a 2 finger gap on my ride.

RIDINLOW-
What settings are you using? I havent really played with it too much except for the front ones.........1's in the rear and 2's in the front. I had the front shocks turned to 1's and that shit was way too soft.....I'm thinking about about 2 front 4's rear.....next.

How easy is it to adjust the rear shocks?

Also, Ridinlow was saying that it is too bouncy unless it is on the hardest setting, is that true?

Hardest setting would be 8 and yeah it would be bouncy........I assure you it's pretty nice.....on the soft settings.........the only difference from stock is that you can feel more bumps.

Rear adjustments can be done just by simply jacking up your car as you would fixing a flat....and reaching under to turn the knob.

I never said it was too bouncy on 1.....I tried to adjust rears without a jack and it was impossible........I could only get a 3 finger grip on it..and thats not enough to turn the knob...maybe cuz it's ne and I haven't turned them yet.

Hi, sorry I've been away from my computer for a while.

2F/4R is fine on big bumps but it gets bouncy on smaller bumps and bumps during cornering. So I tried it at 4F/8R, which is where it's at now. It's overdamped now... the springs don't really get to absorb much & you'd better not have to go to the bathroom if you're in the car. So somewhere between 2F/4R and 4F/8R is where you want to be.

Oh, and you definitely don't need a camber kit. Save your money for an alignment instead.
