I can attest to that, new bushings throughout (including trailing arms) upgraded sways, tower strut stiffer low springs, and adj dampening shocks. If I set them real stiff and go say hello to some twisties it's really fun. You can still tell the car is heavier than your civic or teg but it's doesn't feel anything like the stock ride.
My car may be slow but she'll turn =)

Its a 2100lb, rear wheel drive platform, with the ability to bolt in a ka24... how many ways can you say sleeper?
no. that thing would be a mean project.
Slotted/drilled wont do anything except chew up your pads quickly, especially if you go with ceramic pads. if your heavily tracking your car, id say go for it, but otherwise eh, i wouldnt bother.
as far as brands, im ordering new brakes soon, and ill probably go with some ebay no name rotors and Hawk HPS pads.
the 3.0 is notorious for transmission issues.. if you can find another replacement trans for cheap and can do the swap yourself, id say go for it. otherwise youll be looking to spend close to 3k on it in the next couple of months / year
I have a Bosch. i believe in them, they perform real well in cold weather as well.

So just came across a steal locally.. some used tein s-techs for 100$, guy never put em on the car then sold them.. only thing is, there for the v6 platform. would that make a difference on my 4 banger? i assume there probably a bit stiffer, but is that all?

Great deal, v6 springs will have a higher spring rate in the front, still should give you a deccent drop though, not sure if it will be even, but shouldn't be too bad

Okay so the only way for me to fix my bushings squeaking issue is to have them disassembled, lubed with the special lube and then reassembled and lubed again at a local tune shop, the estimated 4 hours of labor.
Should I buy another set of polyurethane ones, because mine could be ruined, so i'd have a new set on standby if they needed replacement (and i'd return them if i didn't need to change em) or should I just go back to stock bushings to guarantee that I don't still have the squeaking noise? Do you think If i have the PE bushings installed correctly that I will not have any squeaking?

CL in lawnmower status
anyone know if a 10 inch wide will fit on the rear of the cl?
i'm soo tempted, it's a staggard 9 and 10 inch both with an offset of +35, i'm thinking i'll probably need more negative camber and a lot of stretch, just wondering if it'll actually fit in the wheel well, most likely the fender lips will be cut off

if you go 10" id say to your wheel bearings.. but thats just me.
is 250$ a ridiculous price for getting my springs installed? i seem to not have the time to do it myself. considering the quotes ive gotten are 400, 500 and 475$ 250$ seems good to me, but should i keep shopping for lower?
