I just bought some new discs today to replace the ones on my 1997 3.0CL. I had a question though, can I just install the discs or do I have to get them resurfaced? Someone told me I needed to get them resurfaced even though they were bought brand new! wtf?

no, brand new rotors do not need to be resurfaced, you should change the pads at the same time though
