I meshed the 97 grill on my 98 the other day and today I tried putting the chrome ring and the "A" on today. The chrome ring fit okay but sits a little low. The "A" on the other, how do I get that to fit on top of the grill. Use longer screws? Even if I do that it seems that it won't be too secure. The wings of the "A" stick out since the mesh is blocking the big black part of the grill where the "A" normally sits. Should I just leave it off. But then again the background of the grill stands out too much. Am I writing what I'm actually trying to say?
