question about changing headlights

I've never taken a bulb out of a car before... and I want to change my low beams, high beams, and parking lights on my 98 2.3 cl..how do i take out the connector and bulb? Can someone just give me some sort of outline of how I can change the bulbs properly? I don't know how the connectors and bulbs are secured in the headlights.. so I don't know how I can take them out. (I'm puttin PIAA W5W Xtreme White parking light bulbs....Hoen 9006 Titanium for my low beams..and Hoen 9005 Xenonmatch Plus for my high beams) Thanks!

I just did this with my Nokya's, high and low beams. You have to push in the clip on the wiring harness, push that sucker down as hard as you can with your thumbs, until it comes off. Only then can you turn your bulb all the way. Once they are seperated, turn the bulb, 45 deg so that the bottom goes over the metal clip. Then pop the bulb out, stick the new one in, turn it to lock. THEN put the wiring harness back on it. You'll scratch your hands up a bit, and it's sort of a pain, but once you do it once, you'll get it. Just to warn you, the bulbs on the battery side are the harder ones, because you have VERY little room to work with. Good luck. Post some pics of the new HL bulbs

First look behind the bulb, there's a couple screws you have to take out. Then you can pull out the bulb from the housing and take the bulb out which is secure by tabs. Make sure you do not touch the new bulb with your hands, it 'll shorten its life.

If you have the owner's manual, it'll be clearer and with pics too.

not screws. there's a plastic ring. give it a clockwise turn, it'll come lose. then turn the bulb socket and the bulb will come out.

you don't need to loosen the metal ring, or unscrew the screws, just yank the wiring harness, and twist the bulb itself, it'll pop right out.

dont take the screws out. you dont have to. i did everyone of my bulbs without removing not one screw. well except in the corners bc its VERY hard to get the corner bulbs without removing the whole thing.

that's what I was saying, you don't have to remove any of the screws. I got my corners out with no problem, just twisted and popped right out. Haven't done the turn signal corners yet. That shouldn't be too bad either thoguh.
