my 97' 2.2 is stock right now and i want to start doing stuff to the engine .....what should i look into getting to improve performance??

you could start by getting a cold air intake off ebay.. or other places..

then u could get new spark plugs...

then u could get new pullys...

then u could get new headers...

then u could get new exhaust...

then u could get a custom turbo.. (hahaha.. good luck with this one.. )

then u could get a new dr. evil tranny...

then.. u will be.. the ultimate.. sleeper..

 

headers and other engine stuff from a 94-97 accord will fit on my CL right??

Yes Make sure it's for the EX model.

What stuff won't fit? Lot's of stuff.

 

Wouldn't a Dr. Evil transmission would be a waste of money on a 5sp?
I just bought and installed a V2 intake in my 2.2 and I can really notice the difference. It seems like a good buy for getting a little bit more power without spending a shitload.
