Question

A lot of times, when I hit a bump, I hear a noise that is not unlike the quick spinning up of a CD rom to read data, and then it is gone.

I haven't even been able to pinpoint the general area that it is coming from, so I know I'm not being much help. Just hoping that this symptom might ring a bell for someone.

Nah, it's definitely not the cd player. I turned it off so I could listen for the noise anyway... I'm pretty sure I'm not a COMPLETE idiot.

lol sorry... sometimes it is right under your nose... on the same note I am getting a progressively worse rattling nar the trunk... not the license plate it is something inside... I tightened the jack as far as it could go in its slot, but I'm thinking it is the rear speakers? Has anyones come loose and rattle?

My car also has this CD-player like whirring sound. I heard it come from the center console and driver-side console.

It never bothered me however.
