I just had the tranny replaced in my 98' cl 3.0 (yea i know, that sucks), all is good, but sometimes when i go to turn the car off, the key does not all the way eject from the ignition switch, it's like stuck. I have to turn the car back on and put it in gear and sometimes that works, but it sucks cause it does it sometimes, and depends where i am, it's a hassle to waste time to get this key out....anybody have this problem before..??

 

i dont know how to help u really, but did u think about just callin the dealer? they shold help u for free/ later

 

I'm not sure if this related, but I had a similar problem. It turned out that my key was sufficiently worn over time, which kept it from coming out on it's own. My dealer cut me a new key, and I've had no problems since!

 

well yea, i called the dealer and they said to bring it in and drop it off......they suck, if you guys ever come to lancaster, don't take it to the acura dealer here, they suck big time, i got my ride back, they scratched up the dash taking it apart and all, they suck big time

but back to the question at hand, i would have thought that it was just the key too, but i just had the tranny replaced, and it never did that before then, i just think they messed something up and now they will pay the rath of my vengence....
