are pulleys worth it...

Are they worth it with just a cai? Ive been reading old threads on AEM vs UR and it seems to be half and half. I read that the crank pulley gives you the most gain, so it is worth it to do all of them? I saw these on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AEM-P...spagenameZWDVW
Are those worth it?
I also saw the obx tb spacer for like 50$. Good price?

i heard that its worth it if u already have I/E/H installed.. but u only have intake.. i dont think it'll give u much gains.. it'll probably look nice when u pop the hood for someone

all show no go!

I dont think it matters if you only have an intake installed, they should give you decent gains. Thats probably my next mod

idk think having I/H/E would make any difference with the power that a set of pullies would make on an engine. maybe it could but it just doesnt seem like the one has to do with the other.

Basically, I just wanted to know which ones are the best to get. I posted a link for the AEM, and wanted to know if they are any good. Should I just buy the crank? Is unorthodox the way to go?
And about the OBX tb spacer, is that thing worth it for like 50$?

Im just confused on which ones to buy.

yeah, how hard is it to put on the crank pulley?
I was thinking of just going with the 2 aem pulleys for the price of 1 crank UR pulley but I know the gain wouldnt be the same as the UR crank pulley. Aem ones eem easy to install. Crank pulley-bitch?

buy the UR crank pulley if you dont want to spend the cash on all the pulleys... on the v6 you can definitely feel the difference

Excuase me for adding to the debate, but i remember alot of people not liking the crank pullies because it removed the harmonic dampener that honda puts on the engine to "iron" our any inbalances and vibrations. Further discussion led to question the resulting longevity and possible side affects this would have long term on the engine. I know a few people took the crank pully off and had it professionaly machined/balanced.

basically just double check and make sure it can be used with your harmonic dampener or it comes with a new one.

Go look at your stock crank pulley. It is not a harmonic dampener. The F and J series motors are internally balanced as are most of Honda's engines.

Thanks, i was offering advice to the origional poster, i dont have or plan to own a crank pulley. I wasn't aware that the F and J series motors were internally balanced, and didn't have a dampener on the crank pulley - learn something new every day.

oh yeah, tb spacers are pretty cool little mods. Doesnt do too much in the power department (i felt a wee bit of a difference), but it sounds really cool.
