Pulleys BAD?!?!

I have been searching to find out how to install my AEM Pulleys and came across this at accordv6.com:
Pulleys They said that their AEM pulleys put a strain on the alternator after a month, causing it to malfunction and burn up batteries. I have already gone through 1 alternator and replaced it with about a 160-180 (110 Stock I think??) Will this cause problems for me?
Anyone else have problems?

If you've got a powerful system in your car, you should definitely stay away from the pulleys because you'll be putting way too much strain on the alternator.

the main prob seemed to be v6 cords with american alternators instead of denso. in theory the pully will make ur alt last longer cuz it is larger and will rotate less, but depending upon how much power u draw u can damage the alt, but thats only at idle. both the aem and oem pully make bout the same power 1500 rpm and above. the 3.0 cl does not seem to share that problem with the v6 cords so dont worry. u do however have to unbolt one engine mount and lift the engine slightlt to install the new belts.

I am about 99% sure that I have a Delphi alternator (which they had problems with) is it still worth the risk?
Who has installation tips/how too? Torque Specs? And Pics of the install pulleys?! I would really apprechiate it so I can get them on before my dyno!

I have the AEM alternator and power steering pulleys with UR crank pulley. They been on for nearly a year now with no problems. I've heard using an air tool to install the pulley can damage the alternator. Just torque it by hand and you should be ok.

NO probs here after 2 years. If you torque the alternator pulley too hard it could cease on you (break the bearings) which is not good, but otherwise A-OK!
