Well, I decided to retrofit my lights but need a little help deciding which bezels I shoud use.

If anyone can post up some bezels that think would look good that would be great. I don't really like any of the ones on ebay but the crossfires which I couldn't find so I need more ideas! I do kinda like the minigun ones but their still too big.

Hell naw. Dad let me take the GT for a test drive and The ride was so harsh.. He neglected that car so much. He was all like, "Everything on the car is all original except for the timing belt and water pump!" Like it was a good thing. Needs new spark plugs and a whole bunch of other crap that should have been replaced miles ago. ('92 78k miles) It's also not THAT much quicker. Does handle ALOT better though. I'm way too atatched to the CL. I just needed to start another project. So I thought, hey, I need new lights (you saw em'...) and why not just start a retrofit project?

I was thinking of minigun painted black but the reason why blackack's back bezels look so good is because he didn't blackhouse.. If I paint em black, that might be a little to black. But then again, you could never have enough black. When and if I get the minigun, I'll put them on my new lights and TSX projectors before I seal up the lights to see if black is the way to go. But right now, I'm thinking minigun.

 

how much did you pay for your tsx projectors?

 

I still need the projectors. I almost bought some mint TSX projos for $160 but I ran out of money from all the other stuff (amber corner spray, HIDs, DEPO blackhoused lights with HIDs for high beams) and parents won't lend money for "stupid projects that waste my time" as they put it. Still need next paycheck for the projos and bezel and I'll start retrofitting.
BTW, I'm sure some of you are glad to know that I'm writing up a DIY and taking tons of pics for each step I do for all of you that are iffy about cutting up your lights.

Yeah, but last time I checked we didn't drive BMWs or are ricers... well, most of us are not ricers anyway.

Secondly, Just because BMW came out with the idea dosn't mean BMW owns the idea and that everyone that has angel eyes are BMW wannabes. That reasoning is pretty n00bish. That's like saying red painted brake calipers are for Brembo's. I even admit I fell victim to that thinking a while back.

I'm still toying around with the angel eyes idea. I know it sounds risky but I'm pretty sure I could pull it off. If it doesn't work I could always turn them off or paint them black. I really like the minigun bezel too though.. Still need to wait till the 30th for my paycheck to get the rest of the stuff. (projectors and bezels)

 

Whatever makes you happy man. But you're going to catch hell because everyone says "oh look, another rice Honda with angel eyes." I doubt they look much different even if they're "done right."

They're not going on my retrofit, but if that's what you want more power to you.
