So in may failed attempt to purchase the chrome guage rings like a couple of you have I opted for what I thought looked like a chrome guage bezel. I know it says polished aluminum but doesn't this look like chrome?
Anyway, I get it and it's dove grey, almost a white color. Not even close to the color in the picture.
First e-mail I send them they want me to send them a picture to prove the color.
Here is the EXACT wording and spelling in their reply: "Can you sent up a picture to proved. thanks cs"
WTF??? So I get another e-mail after I explain I don't have a digi cam and can't send them a picture. They want to charge me a 20% restocking fee and more postage. FAWK!!! The stupid thing only cost $25. I'm barely going to get any money back after this BS is over with!!!!!
Thanks for letting me vent...........

Damn!
You're having NO luck getting what you need for your gauges!
As you can see from their feedback on eBay, they suck! :thumbsdn:
I hope you get things resolved!

I think it would have looked cool though if it was chrome.
I also have to agree to the 20% restocking fee to get the approval to send it back. They then give me an "RM#", without this they will refuse it.
But what I'm pissed about is that it's misrepresented on their site so why should I have to pay for it? I could see if I was a punk and just changed my mind but it's brand new, never installed, and still has the protective film on the surface. It's their picture on the site, it should look the color of the item

you get what you deserve! hmmmm, lets order from a company that sells products with no manufacturer name.
just some advice, places that sell generic shit dont care about you or your problems with their product. and dont bitch, there is more than enough negative feedback there for you to research and realize they screw people.
i guess your not paying the lowest price after you pay to have it shipped back and get charged a 20% restocking fee, are you?
not to sound like a prick, but some people will not learn!

i really get pissed when people go to an already known shit company to buy their parts when our price was $10 more and the part is actually made by a known company and has a no bullshit return policy.
they end up losing twice that. it pisses me off, not that we lose 1 sale, but the fact that some people need to save that whopping $10 and take a chance.
done venting, back to work. dont mean to offend anyone, i just find amazement in some things.

those who know me here understand i am very deep, i think differently and express ideas and opinions about both sides of every truth. anyway, we dont carry $7 strut towers and $12 clear corners like ebay and procarparts. but when you want a brand name look us up. good night for now.
But Ross, just for the record, this is not the same item I inquired to you about. The item I asked you about was an APEX bezel with chrome rings but I really just wanted the rings and you said they didn't come separately. I wasn't trying to save a couple bucks cause I never asked you if you had this paticular bezel.
Well, I have never ad these problems with ordering things online bevcause I simply don't order online. I don't thinkt hat there is anything equivelant to just going to a store and paying and recieveing your item on the spot. But I honestly have to sayt hat if I were to order anything online, then I would have to order from mobilewestonline.com. I ahve heard nothing but good things about them, and rmstoico has always told me if there is a better deal somewhere else
Correction:
The bezel I asked Ross about was an APC.
I just received another e-mail from procarparts. It states they will send me the one pictured on the web site. But I think this is the one on the site, just a different representation of it. It's not a bad bezel, just not what I expected as pictured.
My beef is with their return policy with an item that doesn't look as exactly as shown. That's why I think the 20% restock fee + postage is unfair.

Ross is right. That company sells the cheapest crappiest parts ever made. About 3 years ago I bought some altezza lights for my civic from there. I installed them right before it rained outside one day. The next day I glanced at them before leaving and the damn things were full of water. After calling them repeatedly and asking for my money back about a dozen times they finally told me to send them back for new ones. They told me to caulk around the edge of the lights to seal them!!!! WTF I spent $200 on those pieces of crap. BTW they all pretend to not understand english when you ask for customer service there. If you payed by credit card then you have the upper hand tell them you will call the credit card company to intervene.
I'm buying all my parts from Ross

I'm kind of upset now. Last I searched for where to get clear corners. A couple of posts provided me with a link (to procarparts.com), so that's where I ordered from. They sent me a confirmation with a UPS tracking #, stating that I should be receiving my order today. Still haven't gotten anything. After reading this thread, I definitely will not be buying anything from them ever. I just hope I don't get screwed with some cheap corners.
Transaction completed!!!
Received an e-mail confirming a credit back to me for the price of the item. So no restocking fee. I sent them copies of about 4 pages of back & forth e-mails to document my dissatisfaction with their return policy. It definately pays to keep track of all correspondence when dealing with online shopping. All in all I lost about $10 in shipping costs.
