problem putting in gauges

hey, i found the post on here that had instructions for putting in new gauges. well i tried and didnt get very far at all.

i took out the cruise control thingy real easily but the dimmer control will not come out. i cant even pull it out far enough so i can unplug it or disconnect it. can anyone please tell me how to do it. i tried for half an hour and couldnt get it. it gets really annoying when u cant do something so easy

Remove the lower dash under the stearing colum. It just snaps on. Then unbolt the metal panel (4x10mm bolts).

You might be able to reach up there after that to help pull it out.

My indiglos are here tomorrow, so I will install them as well and take pictures for a how to.

Precaution

Be careful putting the gauges over your needles...I wasn't and broke the temp and gas needle.
