Problem getting the dimmer switch out... HELP

Problem getting the dimmer switch out... HELP

I got my chrome ring set and blue LED...
but I had problem getting the dimmer switch out.
I got it half way out but it won't come out any further.
Any idea?

I think its the wire behind it is too short?!?!

BTW, I did got the cruise button out..

it should have came out easily just like the cruise button. The wire may be too short. See if you can pull it out enough to get behind it and unsnap the wire. Good luck

I had the same problem. The wire was too short but i kept pulling and pulling until i could undo the wire. Than after i got the guages in i realized there was no way in the world i was going to get the wire back on the switch so i ended up asking the dealership nicely and they were glad to put it back together free of charge. They even made it so the wire is longer in case i want to pull it out again

same here-- mine was NOT EASY but I did manage to make it conect and shove it back in.. just keep at it -- there is SOME slack behind there too-- give it a little pull to get some more wire

I'll try again tonight.
As for the plug that attached to the back of button, I can just unclip the clip and pull it off right?
