You dont need a high temp paint. You can use a metalic spray paint which looks much better. I used black metalic with silver sparkle. Sand @ 400 grid. Make sure you sand the edge on the back so when you pain you pain sanded area on the back as well. This doesn't allow pain to chip and flake. Prime once. Sand with 1200 grid. Prime for a second and a third. Allow 30 minutes between each application. Pain with desired color. 3 applications would be nice. 30 minutes between each application. 2 coats of clearcoat. 45 minutes between each application. let dry overnight. One warning along the whole way. DO NOT TOUCH PRIMER/PAIN/CLEARCOAT TO MAKE SURE IT IS DRY. YOU WILL LEAVE FINGER MARKS.
