Hey guys I have a 75 Shot Zex Kit coming from CiLver2.3, I was wondering for all your 3.0's what i should do to prepare for the shot besides the tranny cooler

I mean what else should i get to make it run smoother cuase I dont want my tranny to go out on me or my engine

if you dont want your tranny to go out on you, you are going ot have to buy a transmission from a different car. The 3.0 tranny is notorious for going out.

I've been spraying for about a year (probably been through 35-40 bottles with no tranny problems). To be honest, my tranny is running BETTER than when I bought the car!!!!

Frequent tranny fluid changes (at least twice a year), plus a tranny cooler have helped tremendously.



Back to the subject . . .

DEFINITELY get the Zex spark plugs!!!!! They will save your pistons! My Uncle recently put a Zex kit (my old one) in his car and DID NOT CHANGE THE DENSO IRIDIUM PLUGS. It burned a hole in one of his cylinders!

I HIGHY recommend getting headers and an exhaust system. This will allow you to gain the most HP from the 75-shot.
