what does the premium package include, that a cl without premium package doesnt?

leather is standard on all cl's 97 and up right or wrong?

and no navigation for first gens correct? or not?

so what do we got in the premium over here...

im looking to buy one, so i wanna know these kinds things before i go looking. all info is appreciated alot.

 

leather isn't standard on the 1st gen CLs (unless it's a premium--they all have leather)...or at least the 97s and 98s....i have a premium and i understood that it's just a better car all around..if you go to www.edmunds.com (i think) you can research the car....

 

heated seats...different/bigger? rims....etc etc

 

All the rims come stock 16s on 1st gens (all alloy), heated seats didn't start til '98 and only in 3.0-V6...both reg and premium (if my memory serves me right)...

 

But only the premium has the multispoke rims as I believe...atleast for the 99s.

 

Leather, heated seats/mirrors, spoiler, CD/6 disc changer

 

Heated seats where available in 97 on the 3.0 premium. My car was bought new in 97 and the premium included leather on both the 2.2/3.0 but the 3.0 also got a power assisted seat for back seat entrance, bose stereo, heated seats/mirrors, and something else. I'll have to find the book I heard that the 98s or 99s all came with leather standard but i could be wrong

Edit - I dont think the prem had a spoiler Jamz and they all (prem or not) came with atleast a single disk cd with an optional tape deck

i have a premium and i DONT have 6 disc changer, heated seats, multispoke wheels( came with the split 5 spke ones). Leather was standard on all models 98-up and woodgrain also i think. I dont know why mine was premium. I thought it was standard. Its nothing special to me.

 

Here are the dealer options for '97 (I don't know about '98-'99):

CD changer; cassette player, CD changer magazine, moonroof visor, cargo net, fenderwell trim, floor mats, car cover, wheel locks, leather wrapped shift knob (auto and 5-speed), spoiler, full bra/half bra, fog lights, gold emblem kit, ski sleeve, splash guards, cargo mat, engine block heater, alloy wheels/chrome wheels, wood dash trim.

None of the above were included in any preimium package and could be put on any CL (at the dealer for extra charge).

'97 Premium package was ONLY: Leather Interior, Driver's Side SeatBack Pocket, and heated front seats (3.0 ONLY).

If you read my post you will see that is on the 3.0 not the 2.2/2.3 (heated seats) and i dont think they had a prem on the 2.3 in 98 if leather was standard unless the wheels are different

Leather did not come standard until 99 models... before that you had to get the premium package to get that.
Heated seats are only on the 3.0 premium's
My 98 2.3 did not come with a cd changer, so I'm pretty sure that it wasn't included in the premium package...

hmm... don't know really what else

 

My car was the showroom model one which suppsoedly had the Premium package. The 6 Disc CD changer wasn't part of the package, but got that thrown in for free.

 

I have a 98 3.0 and it has Heated Mirrors, Heated Seats, Leather, CD(No Changer), Garage opener, 16 inch Rims, Bose system, Power Locks, Security system, Keyless entry. Which I guess, most are standard on the 3.0.

 

i have a 97 3.0 and i bought it second hand but i didnt get no cd changer and cd magazine thing! i got jipped! but i do have leather seats with heated seats and mirrors. i didnt get the cargo net tho but i got the bose system heh...
