Anyone know how to hack the factory Bose radio or have access to the radio unlock codes? My car did not come with the code and the idiots at the only Acura dealership in my city are absolutely clueless as to which number is the right one - so far no codes have worked. The radio worked until I pulled it out to get the SN to get the code, so I know it has a code out there some where.

Do a "search" here about radio codes. There have been several threads on where you may find the code (I can't remember them all). Keep in mind that it's a 5-digit code. The radio will only allow you 3 tries to get the code right before it shuts itself off. If that happens, disconnect your negative battery cable for about 15 minutes and you'll get another 3 tries to get it right. Then repeat if necessary.

Try looking under your ash tray. The code may be there.

 

Call other dealerships, particularly the one origianl dealership where the car was purchased new, if you can find that out.

 

i searched all over my car for the code. i ended up calling an acura dealership and all i had to do was give them my vin and it took them about two minutes and look it up and give it to me
