i had a 1997 cl, that i recently crashed into a tree, so yesterday i bought a 1998 CL, but there seems to be a problem with it. It still has the factory alarm, and when it sits in the driveway the alarm sounds every 15 minutes or so... wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or could tell me how to fix it? The battery was just replaced... so i didn't know if there is some type of reset for the alarm...

Has anyone encountered any problems like this? or does anyone know of a switch/button to disable the alarm?

i had the same problem and it ended up being the hood latch...it wasn't closing properly or something

..we ended up ordering a brand new hood latch and cable and the problem was fixed

did u buy it from a dealer or a private sale??...if u got it from a dealer take it back and tell them to fix it ...that's wat i did and i payed $0

bought it from a girl, not a dealer, but it is most likely fairly cheap for these parts, no?
