I need some advice from anyone who may have experienced this problem before. When i put the car in D4 the transmission is already in 3rd gear. It feels like the car has no power. My D4 light was blinking so i put the car on the computer and it is telling me shift solenoid c is no good. Someone mentioned that this problem sounds like the linear solenoid went bad. Anyone have any ideas?? thanks...

 

im pretty sure that means you need to get a new tranny or have it rebuilt

 

change the solenoid. Could be your tranny on it's way out the door though.

How many miles on the car?

Is your CEL on?
