I have a 97 3.2 TL that I love...

A friend is looking to buy a CL (http://denver.craigslist.org/car/242661006.html)

Can you please let me know what he needs to look out for for that year?

Transmission? Sthg else?

I don't know of any problems with this vehicle, you could get the VIN # and check and see if there are any recalls or technical service bulletins (tsb) by calling the dealer.

i don't think i saw mileage listed..
the 97s have an emissions warranty and ignition recall
if its under 150k you can get these fixed 100% free, but after that you're screwed.
