I thought that the stock intake was the same on our cars as on a 98 accord so I ordered a drop in filter of Ebay and it DOES NOT FIT I am so pissed, please tell me if I am wrong or did they send me the wrong filter.

 

first gens use 94-97 parts not 98-01

 

Like I mentioned in my PM, I'm not sure because I haven't put one in.


However, it makes sense that you'd pick the 1998-2002 Accord's filter since their engine is like ours. Even the filter for the '98 2.3CL is different from the 3.0CL (I checked the part numbers).

I'm not certain that the '95-'97 Accord V6 Filter is the same as the '97-99 3.0CL, but that may be the place to look.
