I was on my home form lunch going across a fairly busy road, cross traffic dosent stop. I was waiting at the intersection to a funeral precession to pass. When it was done traffic was still crawling through the intersection. Then some old guy driving a buick boat was holding traffic in his lane so i could get through. My first thought was don't go but i decided to inch out to see if it was clear. Well i couldn't have been more than 2-3 inches in his lane when i looked right to check traffic and WHAM, the dude slammed right into me!!! I got out and was said I though you waved me in. He said he did but thought I was turning into his lane. But what i dont get is that even if i was he still would have rear-ended me. Oh well I didn't get a ticket so now im left with a half of bumper on my CL Just wanted to vent. Thank you

 

Dude sorry to hear about that. It's just the bumper cover right? No other damage?

I had someone rip my bumper cover off in NYC traffic. 2 lanes merged into one and neither of us wanted to let the other in. Obviously I was in the lane since he took my bumper off, but it still cost me. Ever since then, I let anyone in. I don't want my girl to suffer the consequences.

 

Yea it was just the cover but still man...seeing my baby get gouged up made me want to break down and ball like a little girl. The fuked up thing is that i just got a new bumper cover like 3 wks ago. oh well i guess that's what insurance is for.

I know how it feels, the other week some asshole kid (wait, I'm one of those too) was tailgating me in his integra and I brake checked him... just a lil too hard, he nailed me and smashed my bumper to pieces. He ended up getting a ticket and the bill... so i wasnt too mad. Serves him right to test someone with a faster car.
