Pics of Chopped Shifter

OK after all the discussion on the board, thanks by the way, especially to d5c5b, my yard stick of a shifter got the chop. Heres some pics, lemme know what you think, now when the monitor folds down to insert a cd the shifter is below it, its a thing of beauty.

Oh and i changed the trim ring at the bottom from black, back to the original chrome, what do you guys think, go back to black or leave the chrome?

oh no prob doing that, the shifting has not been affected at all, this was done for the obvious cosmetic reasons, oh and by the way had to lower it because the ps2 is goin in thursday so wanna make sure you can see the screen without any obstructions, still to come though a 7.2" flip down to replace the dome light, hows that sound, prob just gonna pick up an ebay special for like 110 considering the frequency that it will be used

Well basically just take a buzz saw to it, theres an outer shift base and an inner shift rod, you can go as low as you want just make sure you leave about an inch to an inch and a half so that the shift rod can go down far enough to depress the lever so that you can shift into gear, easy thing to do if you have the right tools

97acrura3.0. I put the boot in because it looked plane without it, not to make it look like a manual. The screen is a Plye screen, it's very clear. The hu is a RF, its all denon internal. RF bought it from denon and put there logo on it. but i took it off.

I got it from Sounddomain. I got it for 300 when they first got it but i believe it's only like 200 now. It's a preamp hu. so you'll need amps to power your speakers. It's a nice deck, if it was reg price it would be around 1 g for it. but RF couldn't sell it so they're blowing it out.
