This afternoon I finally picked up a CL. I've been looking for one for a few months. It's a 1998 2.3CL auto in Iced Teal Pearl with 117K miles. Got it for $5,600. This is my 3rd acura (96 Integra LS and 99 Integra GSR). I do really like it. It's clean as hell. Anyway, I was just dropping by to show some CL love.

why would you get rid of the gsr...but other than that love the color and it looks clean good job and start modding

Well, I bought the gsr from some dude. He fucked up the engine and the thing blew a few months later.

 

enjoy the CL.. it's no GSR.. but it will most certainly do.. pimpin!

 

I also went from an integra to a CL does it feel like your driving a boat compared to the integra? It doesn't feel that way to me anymore but when I made the switch I felt like I was driving a big cadillac hoopde. The stock suspension is much sportier in the Integra but I still like the CL more, of course.

 

Haha. Yeah man. It is very much like a little boat compared to the teg. Got to get used to it, but I dig it so far. It's like more chill to drive, alot more laid back. Nice to have in this atlanta traffic.

 

has any one wit a 2.2/2.3 auto ever had tranny problems? i juss here about 3.0s

 

I do not believe the 2.2 and .3 auto had any problems, theres not enough power to hurt the tranny hahaha

 

 

Speaking of power, what would be the best way to increase power that doesn't involve a swap?

i had my 2.3 auto tranny rebuilt at 70k miles. so yeah, i figure they have problems too. us 4banger 4speed peeps dont mention it cuz its severely embarrassing lol.

mostly all the mods are off a 94-97 accord! engine / suspension / etc.!

i have a 2.3 auto and tranny is really F'd up!

 

im on my second going on 3rd 2.3 tranny i think it may be time to go put in my h22 baby that needs some lovin
