PIAA xPerts : question?

Which is the newest and top of the line bulb PIAA makes for the 9006 ( our cars ) ? Which is the newest PIAA bulbs that are blue HID like? Which in your opinion would match PIAA extreme wedge bulbs?

there are some PIAA 5000k's on ebay that are straight from japan. they cost about $98.

the next ones down are the piaa 4000k and those have a blue car on them. theyere supposed to be as bright as 4000k hid's (acura cl and tl 99 and past)

if u want HId then u need to get PIAA superplasma 9006 (only from japan)
same w/ the piaa extremes 9006. they are white w/ blue tint and they are only avail from japan. for some reason the usa branch of piaa only makes those in every other bulb cept 9000 series. so u got to pay more. piaas are like 70 a pair in US btu since they from japan i seen them go for 120 for the superplasma, but they are worth it to me. im bout to change my piaa superwhites to plasmas.

1400x series

I have the 1400x series on my Acura CL...they fit perfectly, they look good, and are bright:

they range about 150-200 dollars

I was a big fan of PIAA until I got real HID.
The true is none of them are as bright as the real HID.
The closest that you can get is probably the xtreme series one.
The Plasma ones looks GREAT!!! I still love them but they are very weak in the dark.
Also, the bulb themselves last very long however, the color kind of fade in about an year or so.
I would save up for real HID as they are pretty cheap now (around $320US) rather than keep spending money on HID-like bulbs.

just my 2 cents...

I concur (as a new owner of real HIDs)!

There's no comparison!

I will admit that the PIAA Extreme Whites are a good buy for the money. I probably spent $50-$75.00 on cheaper xenon bulbs before getting the H3s for my OEM fog lights! Unfortunately, now the H3s almost look yellow compared to the HIDs!

for the PIAA extremes, what's the newest version of extremes that are out now, i think i'm going to get those, because i don't think the plasma's will match the extreme wedge bulbs that i have, how much do you think the newest extremes will cost? anyone know any good websites to buy it from?
