I had an unfortunate wreck couple weeks back and my insurance is going to total my car. The value they offer me for my car is not so great. Can I negotiate with the insurance? or i have to agree on their offer. if anyone needs any parts lemme know. i can sell some parts. don't have any mods on my car though. i recently put in new timing belt and water pump and some other belts. i will put some pics soon.

it was my fav car had a lotta good memories on it. sadly, have to depart with her now.

yur screwed. they wanna give you $0.00, but they want to be nice.

 

put everything in writing and do not speak to them on the phone unless you record it.
make copies of CL's just like yours in the area and fax them to your insurance company demanding that they "replace" your car or give you enough money "to be made whole again".

you can aslo write to the commissioner of insurance in your state, they work for the consumer. they can launch a formal inquiry/investigation that will get quick results if any can be achieved.

other than that, call a lawyer if you can find one for cheap

the lamp is still working but the headlight glass itself is broke. college station is about 3 hrs drive from dallas top.

i have 90k miles on my car and i recently spent $1350 on it to change all the belts, timing, water pump, etc. etc. the ins is offering me 7.4k for it right now and i know my car is worth more than that. they said that if i can find a similar car within 90 mi. at a dealer then they can prolly re-value my car based on that price, but i searched for it all this morning couldn't find any. what are the web-sites i could look at to search for similar car?

i got 7.4 exactly for my totaled 97 2.2 with 70k and mods ... u should be able to get at least 8k

u can also deny the claim ... therefore they have to reissue another claim

 

Hey I live in Houston and I would like to get the factory rims from you if they are OK. What color is the car? What year? I would like passenger side black plastic stuff under the fenderwell that keeps stuff from flying in the engine compartment.

Also check prices in Houston I think it is about 90 miles and Im sure they retail for more here. But I doubt they will give you retail value for it though.

sorry for the delay in replying to all ur posts. I was out of town for a while on work trip.

The hood is apparently not in good shape and so are the headlights. the tail lights are all in good condition. i don't know much about the value of these parts, so just send me a pvt message if ur interested with an offer w/ shipping. thanks guys.
